Summary:Within the companies and organizations whose objective is to take care of society's health, there is the need to efficiently stock up with medicines, instruments or other supplies to take care of health. In hospitals, emergency areas have as a critical factor the time in which this supplies are carried out without setbacks and avoiding a stock break. The picking processes for the collection of these items, which are later directed to emergency subareas, urgently need to be carried out in the most efficient way possible, so as a result, it was proposed to reformulate the internal processes within the supply of the general warehouse of an emergency hospital in Peru, using tools such as 5S, the ABC model, and cycle counting.
