Description
Summary:In this study, sound speed estimation method in layered medium has been developed to be used in photoacoustic tomography imaging applications. To this aim, a linear model has been developed using Snell's law between the the sound speeds of the two-layered medium and the arrival times of the acoustic wave from source which is located in the bottom layer to the transducers. The least squares method was used to solve the linear system. The accuracy of the developed method was tested using the data obtained with the k-Wave software.
