Description
Summary:Photoacoustic tomography imaging is a new medical imaging technique based on the principle of converting the acoustic wave emitted from the tissue heated by laser beams to an image by measuring it with an ultrasound probe. Image quality in photoacoustic tomography depends on the imaging algorithm, as well as the establishment of the data generation and collection system in accordance with its intended use. In this study, studies were carried out to establish the photoacoustic tomography system, which will be established for the purpose of imaging skin cancer, in a way that will give the most optimum image result depending on the parameters that make up the experimental setup. For this purpose, a trigger system has been set up for the laser and acoustic data acquisition unit to work synchronously, the structure of the mechanism has been examined so that the laser beams can be dropped on the tissue with the least energy loss, and the angle between the laser beam and the receiver probe has been determined.
