Summary:This paper presents the results of the designing Ka-band band-pass filter with HTS E-plane insert in the cross waveguide. Mainly electromagnetic features of the proposed filter are presented. The approach to the design of the filter is used based on the results of the characteristics analysis of two coupled resonators in a chain of multiple coupled resonators formed by E-plane insert in the cross waveguide.
