Summary:This paper presents a time-dependent simulation of three-phase squirrel cage asynchronous motor using COMSOL Multiphysics software. Simulation was made for constant rotational velocity adjusted to the nominal one of the tested motor. The course of stator currents and motor torque is shown and their values are compared to their catalogue ones and values obtained from motor measurements. As seen, the simulation results match the catalogue values or measured results rather well.
