Summary:In order to reduce the maintenance cost of distribution network and improve the maintenance efficiency, a distribution network maintenance method based on improved flock algorithm is proposed. A distribution network maintenance model including maintenance cost, power supply loss and fault loss is established. The model aims at minimizing cost and includes constraints of each device. Then, a flock optimization algorithm based on differential evolution is proposed, which improves the convergence speed and searching precision. The improved flock algorithm is used to solve the maintenance model of distribution network. The simulation results verify the applicability of the proposed model in distribution network maintenance.
