Summary: | A senior member of the flexible AC transmission systems is the unified power flow controller (UPFC). The focus of this research is on the UPFC's consistent state proving for the device's use in the standard Newton-Raphson power stream calculation. The suggested approach has been put to the test with IEEE 6 transport frameworks. In this work, logical methods to select the optimal UPFC regions are suggested. It is possible to locate UPFC anywhere along a transmission line. In this regard, a thorough investigation of the effects of UPFC assignment on power framework consistent state activity has also been conducted. The required quantity of series voltage injected by the UPFC controller has also been determined in order to reduce the power oscillations that are occurring throughout the system. In addition, it was discovered that the proposed controller functions properly throughout a wide range of power ratings applied to the generator. |
