Description
Summary:This article is validating the robustness of neural network speed controller of variable frequency drive for three-phase induction motor. Neural network speed controller is investigated under different loading. The speed and torque tracking are investigated for neural network. The neural network's results are compared to Fuzzy-like proportional differential (PD) controller and conventional PI. To validate the system performance the DS 1104 control board is used. Both experimental and simulation results show the strength of speed controller based on neural network. Neural network speed controller results in smaller overshoot, undershoot, less rising time and better dynamic performance.
