Description
Summary:A natural fiber called coir, often known as coconut fiber, is taken from the coconut husk.Typically, fibers are 10 to 30 centimeter (4 to 12) in length. The fiber extracted is measured manually. The major problems identified in manual method includes a lot of time consuming process. When the fiber is measured manually it may result in various errors. Human errors are inevitable. It will require more human resource. Manual method may cause a great loss for industries. Solution is provided using sensors which does not require human interruption. Thus, the solution provides accurate measurement in measuring the coir rope. The accurate measurement helps the industry to improve their manufacturing. It reduces the loss for the industry. The automated device built helps the industry to provide accurate measurements on their product. Thus all their products are equal in size. Human error can lead to inaccurateresults that are not very close. It ensures that the product being manufactured falls within a specific measurement range.Currently, the manual method is consuming more human source. The project is to bring actual measurements in measuring the length of coir rope.
