Description
Summary:The paper considers methods for estimating and compensating for Carrier Frequency Offset and Symbol Time Offset in order to improve accuracy of the synchronization in communication systems using DFT-s-OFDM technology for data transmission, which is expected to be an effective way to combat the high value of the peak to average power ratio and out-of-band emissions with low computational complexity of signal processing algorithms in current 4G and 5G New Radio communication systems, as well as future 6G communication systems. The paper provides some results of a study that was carried out in order to check the eligibility of contemporary methods for estimating and compensating Carrier Frequency Offset and Symbol Time Offset influences, as well as the errors caused by CFO and STO. The paper delivers the data about the study describing the use of the Kronecker Product in order to achieve better estimation and compensation results for current methods for Carrier Frequency Offset.
