Summary:The digitalization of the electric power industry in the Russian Federation continues and the need for industrial automation technologies that include information security and cybersecurity functions is becoming more evident. To date, studies have been conducted in the field of cybersecurity of the relay protection and automation (RPA) subsystem of a digital substation (DSS) and researchers have concluded that process disruption due to computer attacks is possible [1] .
