Summary:This paper concentrates on the safety of underground construction workers. Construction workers include about 5-10% of the total workforce in the industrialized countries. They are exposed to wide variety of health hazards in their job. Hence in this paper, using ultrasonic sensor, gas sensor, Atmega 328P-PU controller, SCADA system we are going to monitor and control the accidents that are frequently taking place at the construction sites. Thus to provide a safe and secure workplace for the construction workers and to reduce the number of accidents taking place daily.
