Description
Summary:The share of the wind turbines (WT) and the wind power generation in general is steadily increasing in electric power systems (EPS). To solve different issues associated with designing and operating of WTs in EPS, reliable information about all possible modes and processes in EPS is needed. Software and hardware-software simulation tools inevitably use numerical integration methods to calculate modes and processes in EPSs, which have its well-known limitations and simplifications, so reliability of results obtained via such tools in some cases can be insufficient. The aim of the work is to create tools for high-quality simulation of WT without simplifications and limitations - specialized hybrid processor. For this authors has been applied a hybrid approach in simulation (on the digital, analog, and physical levels), and implement this in a special modeling tool. That allows to use detailed models WT and take into account the mutual influence of any EPS scale.
