Description
Summary:To overcome the difficulties caused by the uncertainty of renewable energy in solving the unit commitment in integrated electricity and natural gas system (IEGS), a robust optimization model is proposed in this paper, in which the dynamic and gas storage tanks of natural gas systems (NGS) are also considered. The time scales of power system (PS) and the NGS are different from each other, and the dynamic characteristics of NGS are remarkably slower than those of PS, so it is necessary to model the dynamic NGS and explore its benefits for the PS. Moreover, since the gas storage tanks can cope with the stochastic fluctuations caused by the gas load, it is necessary to consider the benefits of the gas storage tanks in IEGS. The model is applied to the IEEE 39-bus-15-node IEGS to verify its validity.
