Summary: | While gamification is a popular trend in information and learning systems design, it has a limited conceptual base. In order to address this limitation with a useful conceptual framework for gamified information and learning systems, this paper first integrates Kolb's and Bloom's models. Then it adds a refractive dimension to interlink the actual and incongruent reality to incorporate a humor orientation for learning by doing (or action). Finally, Nasreddin Hodja's educative tales are used to illustrate the phases of the suggested model integration, hoping also to contribute to the dissemination of these valuable tales. |
