Description
Summary:Smartphones are now ubiquitous in every aspect of our lives. Users are more inclined towards saving and accessing vital and personal information on smartphones. However, there is always a privacy and security issue, which are covered by PIN numbers and fingerprints authentication. The choice of choosing between a PIN number and fingerprints has always been challenging by the fear of the PIN to be read and fingerprint image to be compromised. This research is done to test the security of fingerprints authentication by using different household items to industrial-grade materials. It will give a practical understanding of how a person's fingerprints can be compromised and used against them on their personal smartphones.
