Summary: | In this article, we show a MIMO chip antenna for 5G mobile phone terminals. Each chip module contains two metal surfaces. The lower surface contains two radiation slots, and the upper surface contains two feeding microstrip lines. In addition, a parasitic element is added between the two feeding microstrip lines to reduce the strong coupling between the two feeding ports, which increases the port isolation from 13dB to 21dB in the 3.5GHz frequency band. The 5G MIMO chip antenna encapsulates two antenna units together with decoupling components on a small chip, which can be directly welded to the required position of the mobile phone terminal, which can be easily removed and replaced. Therefore, it has broad application prospects in 5G mobile phone terminals. |
