Description
Summary:Circulating currents and fault currents in MMC systems can pose a threat to the stable operation of the system. In this paper, a novel magnetically saturated bridge arm reactor topology is proposed, its operating principle is analyzed, and the simulation verification of electromagnetic characteristics is carried out. It has the characteristic of variable inductance and suppresses the above currents without affecting the normal operation of the system.
