Description
Summary:In this work, silver nanospheres and silver nanowires (AgNWs), which are essential in most applications in biosensing, surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), and nanoplasmonics, are modeled in computer environment. The modeling includes the assessment of the nanoparticle's absorptions and extinctions. In the simulation results, the red-shift that should be observed with the increase in sphere diameter can be clearly seen. In addition, the characteristic peaks that should be seen for AgNW are also observed.
