Description
Summary:The subject of this paper is the realization of filter with six cross-coupled half-wavelength resonators in microstrip technology. The filter is dual-band bandpass. In this paper, structures are modeled for determination the resonator external Q-factor and coupling coefficient. It is given a general theory of filter synthesis through the resonator Q-factor, the coupling coefficient and the central frequency. All the results are verified by developing a three dimensional electromagnetic (3D EM) filter model. The filter is simulated in the following software: AWR Microwave Office and WIPL-D Microwave Pro.
