Description
Summary:CVD nanodiamond films have recently emerged as promising new cold cathode materials for microelectronics applications, but in spite of great efforts the data are complex and the emission mechanism is not clear yet. Nonetheless, it has been established that the surface states and the morphology are very important and some surface treatment may improve the emission properties of the diamond films greatly. With this goal we have studied methods of improving the emission properties of the diamond films, produced by electrophoresis method, by means of MWCVD treatment.
