Summary: | The objective of the present work was to evaluate the quality and biometrics of guava commercialized in
supermarket and street fair of Pombal - PB according to the days of the week. Guavas were collected in two commercial
establishments, supermarket and street fair of Pombal - PB. Samples were collected on mondays and fridays during the
months of april and may, constituting four collections per establishment. Was used a completely randomized design in a
factorial (2 x 2), represented by the collection days, monday and friday and the commercial establishments, supermarket
and street fair. There were analyzes of fresh mass, length longitudinal and transverse; external appearance; disease
severity; peel color, soluble solids (SS), titratable acidity (TA), pH and SS / TA. Was used 32 fruits for analysis in each
collection day, 16 fruits per commercial establishments. Guavas commercializaed in the supermarket stood out due to
higher fresh weight, length, longitudinal and transverse. The physical and chemical characteristics of the fruits from the
supermarket and street fair are appropriate for commercialization.
Objetivou-se com o presente trabalho avaliar a biometria e qualidade da goiaba comercializada no
supermercado e feira livre de Pombal – PB em função dos dias da semana. As goiabas foram coletadas em dois
estabelecimentos comerciais, supermercado e feira livre de Pombal – PB. As coletas foram realizadas nas segundas e
sextas-feiras, nos meses de abril e maio, constituindo quatro coletas por estabelecimento. Utilizou-se o delineamento
experimental inteiramente casualizado em esquema fatorial (2 x 2), representados pelos dias de coleta, segunda e sexta-
feira e os estabelecimentos comerciais, supermercado e feira-livre. Realizaram-se analises de massa fresca;
comprimento longitudinal e transversal; aparência externa e interna; severidade de doenças; cor da casca; sólidos
solúveis (SS); acidez titulável (AT); pH e SS/AT. Utilizou-se 32 frutos para as analises em cada dia de coleta, sendo 16
frutos por estabelecimento comercial. As goiabas comercializadas no supermercado se destacaram devido à maior
massa fresca, comprimento longitudinal e transversal. As características físicas e químicas dos frutos do supermercado e
da feira livre são apropriadas para comercialização. |
