Summary: | Pleomorphic adenoma is a benign tumor and the neoplasia of salivary glands with the highest incidence. The aim of this study was to report the case of a 45-year-old male patient who attended the oral diagnosis clinic because of a tumor on the right side of the face, slow growing about 1 year and 6 months. Clinically, he presented a nodular tumor, hardened and measuring approximately 5 cm on left preauricular area. Computed tomography and ultrasonography of the region were performed and were suggestive of pleomorphic adenoma of the left parotid gland. A preauricular approach was performed, and the tumor was excised with preservation of the parotid gland. The postoperative evolution was uneventful, with no sequel or recidivation after 1 year.
