Description
Summary:This study aimed to report a triple-negative breast cancer metastasis in the oral mucosa. A 36-year-old female patient was diagnosed with triple-negative left breast invasive ductal carcinoma, stage IIIA, in 2019. In June 2021, she was diagnosed with brain, adrenal, nodal, and renal metastasis treated with holocranial radiotherapy and CAPITELLO chemotherapy protocols. In September 2021, she presented an exophytic fibrous, purplish-red oral mucosa nodule in the right retromolar region, together with fixed and painless lymph node enlargement in the right submandibular region. Clinical hypothesis were metastasis or new primary peripheral giant cell lesion. Incisional biopsy revealed an epithelioid malignant neoplasm. Immunohistochemistry showed triple negative (ER, PR, HER2), GATA3+, and Ki-67 positive in 80% of the malignant cells. The final diagnosis was breast carcinoma metastasis. The patient underwent radiotherapy in the cervical and mandibular region, with capecitabine. Her last follow-up showed regression of the lesion, and the patient is undergoing follow-up.
