Summary: | This session will introduce a mosaic of teaching strategies that utilize adult learning principles and allow for collaborativelearning in neuroimaging foundations and applications, disciplines often undertaught in clinical psychiatry training. To open, there will be a brief session introducing the concept of adult learning, the course, and syllabus (10 mins). We will present data collected from our current cohort of trainees and lessons learned along the way (20 mins). The audience will then break into small working groups and will use the tools introduced in the session to prepare a class about neuroimaging (30 mins). There will be a 30 minute-long large group discussion about the projects created. Learners will leave with ideas on how to approach constructing a neuroimaging curriculum. |
