Summary:An analytical solution of the problem on contact interaction between a cylindrical shell and a ring loaded by a system of radial forces is obtained with the help of the integral Fourier transformation and the method of stressed state synthesis. Simple relations are proposed for the calculation of contact reactions, radial displacements, and internal force factors. The numerical results obtained are in good agreement with analogous data of other authors.
