Summary:Two formulations of FMC 54800, 2E and 10WP, were evaluated for phytotoxicity on carnation. Seven weekly applications of FMC 54800, at IX, 2X and 4X the recommended rate of 0.125 lb ai/100 gal, were made to commercially grown carnations located in Encinitas, Calif., beginning 1 Aug. The test was replicasted 4 times and each replicate consisted of 10-row-ft per variety. Applications were made with a 2.5 gpm Arimitsu sprayer @ 250 psi.
