Summary: | This report suggests an alternative for dealing with the diagnostic dilemma of differentiating an ovarian pregnancy from a ruptured CL cyst and suggests a conservative management approach that will possibly minimize adhesion formation and optimize future fertility. This new approach is based on a single case reported here, and therefore needs further verification. However, use of this revised set of diagnostic criteria, combined with the judicious use of MTX, may be an alternative therapy for selected ovarian pregnancies. |
