The anthocyanins of some Himalayan flowers

The anthocyanins of a number of post-monsoon Himalayan flowers have been identified in the field by established methods. No new types were detected. Some observations are made on the evolutional status of the family Nyctaginaceae in connexion with the presence of nitrogenous anthocyanins.
