Summary:Arbyn et al comment on Solomon and Schiffman's response to their meta-analysis of the accuracy of the human papillomavirus DNA testing as an alternative to a repeat Pap smear to triage women with equivocal cervical cytology. They agree with the remark made by Solomon and Schiffman that CIN3 or worse (CIN3+) is also a relevant outcome to evaluate triage methods.
