Construction of a plant disease resistance gene from the satellite RNA of tobacco ringspot virus

Tobacco ringspot virus (TobRV), the type member of the nepoviruses, is examined, and a report of the expression of forms of the satellite RNA of tobacco ringspot virus sequence in transgenic tobacco plants is presented.
