Summary:Abstract Thalidomide has shown its efficacy in the treatment of epistaxis in hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT) patients. We hypothetize that, owing to its anti-inflammatory/antiangiogenic/vascular growth maturation properties, thalidomide should be useful in the prophylaxy and therapy of HHT patients presenting with initial lung involvement.
