Summary:Throughout the 1919-22 Turkish national movement, MI 1c, later known as the Secret Intelligence Service, and the other associated British intelligence services provided a great deal of information about events in Anatolia. Although telegraphic and wireless communication made a significant contribution to the work of the intelligence services, most information was obtained from traditional sources including Turkish, Greek, Armenian, and Arab agents.
