Colloidal Route for Preparing Optical Thin Films of Nanoporous Metal-Organic Frameworks

Colloids of a highly flexible porous metal‐organic framework (MOF) have been prepared using nontoxic and easily removable solvents. Furthermore, a simple dip‐coating method for the preparation of optical‐quality thin films of the MOF has been developed. The homogeneous thin film exhibits reversible...

Description
Summary:Colloids of a highly flexible porous metal‐organic framework (MOF) have been prepared using nontoxic and easily removable solvents. Furthermore, a simple dip‐coating method for the preparation of optical‐quality thin films of the MOF has been developed. The homogeneous thin film exhibits reversible flexibility, as has been proven by environmental ellipsometry.
