Contact-Active Antimicrobial Coatings Derived from Aqueous Suspensions

Kills germs on contact! Environmentally friendly aqueous dispersions of polymer nanobeads with a surface‐grafted antimicrobial emulsifier were prepared. Coatings prepared from these dispersions (see picture) kill microbes on contact, without releasing a biocide.
