Sesquiterpenoids from Chloranthus spicatus

Five new sesquiterpenoids (1-5), namely chlospicates A--E (1-5), along with ten known sesquiterpenoids and three known sesquiterpenoid dimers, were isolated from the whole plant of Chloranthus spicatus. Their struc- tures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data.
