Description
Summary:Bimetallic nanotubes: Uniform arrays of metal nanotubes were prepared by the electrodeposition of a thin metallic film on the pore walls of anodic aluminum oxide membranes decorated with metallic nanoparticles. Multisegmented nanotubes with a bimetallic stacking configuration along the nanotube axis can be fabricated (see picture). The technique is applicable to a wide variety of conducting and semiconducting materials.
