Description
Summary:The Kiselevka-Manoma Complex, the youngest accretionary complex in the Russian Far East, is composed of Jurassic-Lower Cretaceous pelagic and hemipelagic oceanic deposits. The radiolarian biostratigraphic study made it possible to refine the stratigraphy of the upper portion of the siliceous sediments from the northeastern fragment of this accretionary complex in the vicinity of the Kiselevka settlement in the Lower Amur region. The transition from pelagic siliceous to hemipelagic siliceous-clayey sedimentation was established within the interval from the Late Barremian to the Middle Aptian in different parts of the complex. The age of the accretion of the oceanic rocks is defined as postmiddle Aptian.
