An "Upside-Down" Liver and Gallbladder Discovered on Hepatobiliary Scan
An ectopic gallbladder that mimicked a possible neoplasm on CT is described. Ultrasound failed to visualize the gallbladder. These findings were finally explained by the hepatobiliary scan, which showed the gallbladder to be in an ectopic location near the hepatic dome.
