Summary:Extraction of Trianthema portulacastrum with dichloromethane has led to the isolation of a new flavonoid, 5,2′-dihydroxy-7-methoxy-6,8-dimethylflavone, along with 5,7-dihydroxy-6,8-dimethylchromone (leptorumol) which has been previously reported from a fern species.
