Summary:	Using the results of a paper previously published by the author, general expressions have been obtained for the energy and screening constant for a two-electron atom for arbitrary sets of quantum numbers of the electrons. In the particular case of the ground state of the atom, the well-known classical result is obtained from the general formulas.
