Description
Summary:Nephrogenic adenoma is reported in 3 young girls, whose bladders had all previously been operated on. Nephrogenic adenoma is most likely a metaplastic reaction of the bladder epithelium to irritative stimuli. Malignant degeneration has not been proven. Treatment consists of transurethral resection with fulguration of the tumor base. A follow-up as for other bladder tumors--cystoscopy at regular intervals--is recommended.
