Description
Summary:Preparation of water‐filled silicone nanocapsules of controlled size is reported. Catanionic vesicles are used as templates for tetramethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4H) crosslinking reactions inside their bilayers. Various characterization techniques confirmed the synthesis of nonporous, impermeable, highly crosslinked, hollow spheres about 100 nm in diameter.
