Description
Summary:The procedure of selective laser fusion of powder materials is used to develop compositions of new corrosion-resistant steels. The elevation hardness of the materials is detected in all tests, as the power and rate parameters of treatment increase. The relationship between the increase in the level of hardness of a metal, its carbon equivalent, and the chemical composition of the metal in the fusion zone is discovered. It is assumed that the growth of hardness depends on the structural changes, i.e., on the processes of formation and dissolution of hardening phases. The metallographic methods are used for the structural investigations.
