Description
Summary:The present work was devoted to a study of the effect of the electrolyte composition on the anodic behavior of stainless steel. Morphology and X-ray phase composition of oxide coatings formed in Al- and Ti-containing electrolytes have been investigated. Electrical conductivity and defects of the coatings have been studied by the method of impedance spectroscopy. It has been established that the introduction of aluminum or titanium oxides into the coating composition reduces the corrosion rate of steel in chloride media.
