Summary:This technical note presents a global finite-time observer design for a class of systems with Lipschitz nonlinearity. By applying a finite-time stability theorem and a careful selection of the homogeneity powers and weights, the problem of global and finite-time stable observers is studied. An observer design procedure is given and a numerical example is provided to illustrate the design method.
