Description
Summary:The problems of metal desulfurization in the course of direct alloying with manganese via feeding manganese sinter and aluminum into a ladle during pouring a metal from a steelmaking vessel are considered. According to calculations and experimental data, the degree of desulfurization is 30–35 and 60% at manganese contents of 0.5 and more than 1%, respectively.
