Summary:We report findings on the optimization of the performances of correlation filters. First, we propound and validate an optimization of ROC curves adapted to correlation technique. Then, analysis suggests that a pre-processing of the input plane leads to a compromise between the robustness of the adapted filter and the discrimination of the inverse filter for face recognition applications.
