Summary:A single plate storage battery composed of Nafion-coated polypyrrole and I3−,I−|Pt electrodes in an interdigitated comb-like structure was set in an energy-storable dye-sensitized solar cell (ES-DSSC). The new ES-DSSC has a simple electrochemical cell structure having a single electrolyte with a typical photoanode and a dual functional electrode assembly.
