Chain flexibility and nonlinear optical properties of conjugated molecules
The influence of conformational disorder on the nonlinear optical behaviour of push–pull polyenes, is discussed with the help of vibrational spectroscopy. Vibrational molecular hyperpolarizabilities have been evaluated according to the vibrational method.
